In 1999 AFI trained filmmaker Martin Amada co-founded the Samui Institute of Thai Culinary Arts. During the 20 years it was in operation, SITCA taught the arts of Thai cooking and Thai style fruit and vegetable carving to thousands of visitors and professional chefs from all over the world. In 2008 while still living on Koh Samui in the Gulf of Thailand, Martin was commissioned by international award winning Kamalaya Koh Samui to produce a series of cooking videos with their chef in residence. In 2015 after returning to the United States, Martin created the Easy Thai Chef line of fresh cooking kits. He is the producer of all the videos in this showcase and today provides a full range of production services to an international clientele.
